macOS

The macOS version of The PlanMinder works the same way as the Windows version. All screenshots on this site is from the Windows version. Some things look a little different on Mac, because it is a Mac. The font is different, scrollbars look and behave differently to name the most prominent examples. There are also a few exeptions where the actual functionality differes:

Login links will not work on macOS. Copy the link string and click the paste button on the login screen instead.

Shortcut keys - Where the manual or hints says CTRL you can use either the control or command key on Mac.

When starting The PlanMinder it may ask for permission to access ThePlanMinder-keys in the login keychain to securely store passwords. Click Always allow to not be bothered by this dialog every time you are logging in to a database.

When there is a new release for macOS available there will be a notice and a (i) button in the Home page in The PlanMinder. Klick the (i) button to get more information and download the new release. There will not any update button to automatically run the new installer as there is on Windows.
