About Us
The PlanMinder is developed and marketed by Auspicia AB, a company located outside the town Piteå in the north of Sweden. Auspicia was founded in 2018 by Martin Forsberg and Ronja Frimalm.
Martin with a masters degree in Industrial Electronics has a background as a developer, project manager and manager of a R&D department. The embryo and core ideas behind The PlanMinder were developed during this time, and tested during six years at the R&D department.
Ronja has a masters degree in Cognitive Science with a background at a research institute and as an interaction designer. She is the main architect of The PlanMinders user experience.

The name Auspicia comes from a roman ritual to seek omens about the future by studying the flight of birds in the sky. This relates to our mission to make a tool for project planning that can help you predict and handle the future in a more scientific way.
Particularly to help keeping your plans up to date by automating parts of the work. A tool that can keep track of all uncertainties and risks in your projects and visualize and quantify their combined effect. In short, a tool for continuous project planning through automation. With auspices like this you can prepare for and control the future of your projects.
We call this tool The PlanMinder.
For curious ornithologists: our logotype bird is the “Perisoreus infaustus” – Lavskrika, or locally known as Röoll. A symbol not only for Auspicia, but also for the region we live in. It is a curious bird that may join you at the camp fire if you are willing to share your meal with it.
The PlanMinder
The idea of The PlanMinder is a project planning tool that makes planning and keeping your plans up to date a lot easier. The PlanMinder automatically schedules all your activities for you, updates plans based on actual work reported, and calculates how likely it is that you will meet your deadlines so that you can make adjustments before it is too late.
Our main motivation is to reduce work related stress. Bad planning leading to teams working overtime to reach impossible deadlines is not good for people. Nor is it good for quality, economy or project success. If we can help you prevent burnout and in general improve workspace health, we will call it success.
The name of our tool comes from the idea of having a project planning tool that helps minding your plans. Also “plan minder” in Dutch means to plan less. That is what we hope you can do when using The PlanMinder. Spend less time on administrating project plans and work more with your actual projects.
