Build 181 fixes to Release 25

The build 181 of release 25 replaces build 177 from 2023-06-08 to fix a few issues on Windows machines.

• Fixed a few graphical issues on screens with 150 % and 175 % scaling.
• Added description overlay support on Scenario tab and Update Activity Status tab.
• Improved description overlay support on Report Time tab.
• Optimized timer animation to save power.

Release 25 Focus: Project Reports

This release includes improvements to the project report functionality. There are many small changes to improve the reports in various edge cases, end there are some new functionality:

• Export project reports as .odt, open document format files, that can be opened and edited in common word processors.
• Copy project reports to clipboard (in html format) so that they can be pasted in emails and other software.

• Copy MarkDown formatted text to clippboard (in html format).
• Overview of previous weeks on the Report Time page.
• New system setting to increase maximum plan length to over five years.
• Checkmark animation when activities reported as Completed.

Fixes and updates

• Problem when copying images to clippboard from a secondary screen with a different scale factor solved.
• Problem with the print function solved.
• Kairos project headline now correctly updates after click on jump to button.
• Fixed visual issues on description overlay.
• Fixed visual issue on the Home / Attention screen for activities.
• Improved the effect of the user preference setting 'Report Time pulse animation: Disabled', to save more energy.

Update

Download The PlanMinder by clicking the download button. Then run it. The installer will replace your existing version of The PlanMinder. You will have to close any open instance of The PlanMinder during the installation process.

You will always find the latest version of The PlanMinder on the Download Page, together with more general installation information.

The PlanMinder checks for updates, and will display a notification on the Home screen when a new release is available. You can start an automatic update from there.

This release matches the functionality of the macOS release of The PlanMinder.

Version number explanation

V The first number is the major version number (V). It increases when there are major functional changes.

The second number is the database format version number. It changes when the database format changes. All users of a The PlanMinder database must use a version with the same database version number. It is not included in the file name.

R The third number is the release number (R). It increases whith every new release introducing new functionality.

B The last number is the build number (B). It increases with every change. Minor bug fixes may be released as a replacement with the same release (R) number but with a new build number.
