Kairos Multi-select and Move

You can now hold the CTRL key to click and select multiple elements in the Kairos work area. Selected elements can be moved as a group by dragging with the mouse, or by using the W A S D keys. You can also hold the CTRL key to box select elements with the mouse.

Another difference is that elements now by default snaps to the grid. Hold shift while dragging to not snap to grid.

Note that only one element is truely selected and highlighted. Only this element will be affected by a delete command. Dependencies can not be multiselected.

Together with the shortkut keys introduced in the last release you can now be more efficient when creating plans. Manual entry: Kairos Keyboard commands.

The Scheduler

The scheduling algorithm has been tweaked. When order does not matter to the scheduler (parallell activities by the same developer), the scheduler will now prioritize the activity with most reported work. That way The PlanMinder will schedule you to continue work you have already started. If no work has been done for any of the alternatives the activity with most uncertainty will be scheduled first.

To be consistent with Kairos, you can now use either Shift or CTRL to multi-select rows in the Chronos view.

As usual there are several other minor improvements to quality and performance included in this release.

Update

Download The PlanMinder by clicking the download button. Then run it. The installer will replace your existing version of The PlanMinder. You will have to close any open instance of The PlanMinder during the installation process.

You will always find the latest version of The PlanMinder on the Download Page, together with more general installation information.

The PlanMinder checks for updates, and will display a notification on the Home screen when a new release is available. You can start an automatic update from there.
